ISP Inserpetrol has worked in quality assurance for the oil and gas sector since 2005. Our team audits on site — production line, shop floor, and field — applying API and ISO requirements with the same detail used to verify them. From our base in Channelview, TX (Houston area), we work with plants across the United States, Mexico, and Latin America.
That track record builds technical judgment: we know what evidence each clause calls for, where the gaps show up, and how to close them without stopping operations.
Meet Our TeamISP helps industrial clients strengthen compliance, improve operational discipline, and modernize execution through a combination of manufacturing understanding, audit depth, management systems capability, training, and digital solutions.
3,000+API and ISO audit execution across industrial and manufacturing environments.
500+Systems built, improved, and strengthened across quality, environmental, and safety.
200+Digital QMS, HSE, operational, and industrial process applications.
500+Professionals trained in API Q1, Q2, 6A, 6D, and auditor development.

15+ YearsLongstanding participation in API programs and related standards.
Many firms can explain a standard. Fewer can assess what already exists, identify what truly needs to change, reinforce implementation, and improve the system in a way that supports the operation.
Practical understanding of mills, processors, threaders, couplings, inspection, traceability, and process control.
Efficient support for new implementations, system upgrades, reactivation, and improvement of what already exists.
Manufacturing, QMS, API, audits, NDT, lab, threading, yield improvement, and implementation support in one team.
Digital QMS, traceability, dashboards, Smart Factory architecture, and AI-enabled solutions tied to operational value.

Talk to usWhat quality teams ask before they engage us. If yours is not here, send it through the form.
It depends on the distance between your current system and the standard. A mill with a documented quality system usually needs six to ten weeks to close findings and assemble evidence; a first-time monogram applicant should plan for four to six months. Every engagement opens with a gap assessment, so the schedule rests on evidence rather than an estimate.
An internal audit checks your system against the standard and against your own procedures, and both API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001 require it. An external audit is the one a certification body or a client performs on you. A supplier audit is one you commission on a vendor to verify their controls before you accept their material. We conduct all three.
Both. Document review, procedure drafting, and training sessions run remotely. Process verification, witnessing inspections, and gathering shop-floor evidence happen on site. Most engagements combine the two so travel cost stays proportionate to the work.
English and Spanish. Instructors, slides, exercises, and issued materials exist in both languages, and mixed-language groups are common in our sessions.
After a short scoping call. The quote is built from scope, standard, number of sites, and audit-day count, and it stays fixed for the scope agreed. Neither the scoping call nor the initial gap review is charged.
A specialist answers directly, not a sales queue.
Tell us the standard, the plant, and the deadline. You get back a scope and a next step.
